Using the 3-D Worldview Survey Results in a Classroom: Follow up Activities

If you are a classroom teacher and you want your students to develop a biblical worldview, it can be a struggle to know what to do to accomplish that. You might start with some tool like the 3-D Worldview Survey #3-dws to get an idea of where they are, and to awaken their own understanding of their beliefs, behaviors, and attitudes. But then what? What activities can you have them do that will help them move from where they are to a more mature biblical worldview?
A few ideas for Worldview Activities
I suggest you start with 1-5 worldview topics. Depending on how you want to proceed, and the results of your particular students, it may be that everyone is using the same topics, or you may want to individualize instruction and have each student or small group focus on different topics.
Small Group Activities
- Discussion groups around small number of questions based on group results
- Small group investigation of biblical response to certain questions
- Small group investigate the contrast between the worldview behind the question as worded, and a biblical worldview instead
Individual Activities
- Presentation to larger group, or to younger students on a question or two
- Short written responses to how to think about certain topics differently (individual topics)
- Discipleship activities with group leaders for most missed questions, or most concerning questions
