It must reach the will, desires, loves, and affections. Jesus commanded, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ A rightly ordered love shapes thought and behavior. Without heartfelt affection for Christ, knowledge alone may only create deeper hypocrisy.
